Class Policy

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations, unless minimum attendance is not met. We generally have a four person minimum for each class, to ensure a beneficial experience for the students and instructor. In the event the minimum is not met, we will reach out ahead of time to let participants know and issue a refund.

If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit for your registration amount to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. To cancel and request a credit, you must email us at info@brookelane.com. Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash but can be applied to future merchandise purchases. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice. 

In the event a class is canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Acts of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).

• No-shows are not refundable, for both individual and group appointments.
• Please make sure you're signing up for the correct day & time you're intending.
• Thank you for arriving on time! We cannot start your class earlier or later than your appointed time.

About Our Policy

Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low. In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend! 

After you purchase your class we will reach out with any further information relevant to the event.

In-person classes take place at brookelane at 5 Field Court, Kingston, NY 12401 unless otherwise noted.
